Society of Physics Students

The Society of Physics Students is a club open to any student with an interest in physics, astronomy, or science in general. Throughout the year, we organize events intended to showcase the lighter side of physics: liquid nitrogen ice cream, a physics exhibition, and a department-wide barbecue have been highlights of previous years. In addition, we host events that offer a chance for students to learn about physics in a broader sense than that encountered in the classroom, including faculty and guest lectures. Most of our events are open to the entire university community, so we encourage you to stop by.
